Cleveland Launcher DST Driver
The Cleveland Launcher DST Driver offers a well-rounded, game-improving 460cc head with a light body and fast speed to boost distance and forgiveness. It was commended in the Golf Digest 2010 Hot List and makes a great driver for players at any skill level. By utilizing “Sub 300g Ultralite Technology”, Cleveland has developed the lightest driver on the PGA Tour in the Launcher DST – it’s sports a full 25 grams lighter overall clubweight than standard drivers. What that means for your game is faster clubhead speeds for up to 10 yards additional distance on your drives. Further enhancing the light weight and increased swing speed is the Diamana Red 44 shaft which manages to be a little longer and a little lighter than standard fare for more kick and higher speed, meaning higher ball speeds and longer drives. The Launcher DST also features MaxCOR Face technology which is a variable thickness across the face – thinner in the middle and thicker at the edges – for a higher coefficient of restitution, which is just a measure of the rate that the ball “springs” off the clubface. It also increases the size of the sweet-spot which allows for additional forgiveness, especially on off-center hits.
